Summer
sunshine playdough, activity printables for times when
the hottest star we know is hiding and to enjoy the shade on the days
that it shines! Embed pony beads (hole
up) into the surface of your dough and use them as guides for inserting
'sun ray sticks' supporting fine motor skill, precision and hand to eye
coordination, all of which are great for underpinning young children's
early writing abilities and also useful as a therapy to assist with muscular
dexterity. Use the length of each stick to continue threading on beads,
building patterns and sequences, promoting the language of maths and expanding
the activity with bendy craft stems. Once finished, photograph each art project
and display the pictures in a gallery or diary of design.
