Raindrop
and umbrella playdough game! a cute activity that supports
young children's early number recognition, addition and fine motor skill
development as fingers, hands and eye coordination all work together to roll,
shape, position and drop small pieces of dough. Assemble the puddle
playdough mat and umbrella on a lipped tray (to catch any escaping droplets!)
and use a dice to determine how many raindrops a player needs to make. When
ready, pick up & let go of each modelled raindrop, having it fall onto
the top of the umbrella and into the 'puddle' below. Decide how many turns
each player receives so that the length of a game is controlled and at the
end, each player's drops can be counted. Play again, or use the dough droplets
to construct a mosaic puddle decorated with glitter, gems and glass nuggets.
