Playdough
shape mats are a great way for young children to explore
2D and 3D shapes, learning the names and examining the number of edges and
curves each has. Laminate the sheets below and along with playdough, invite
your creative sculptors to model the solid and outline formations and if
wanted trace the line of each structure using chalk or whiteboard pens so that marks can be
wiped off and different colours and patterns applied.
